Cleansol Laundry Emulsifier Concentrate – Oil & Grease Remover for Laundry
About this item
Cleansol Laundry Emulsifier Concentrate is a liquid additive that you add with your detergent in the main wash to lift oil and grease out of fabric. It breaks oily soil into tiny droplets that stay suspended in the wash water and rinse away – instead of settling back on the cloth as a grey, greasy film. It works best in a hot wash (60 °C and above) together with a detergent and Laundry Booster, and is made for chef coats, kitchen linen, restaurant napkins, workshop overalls, uniforms and spa or salon towels. Packs: 1 L, 5 L and 25 L. Made by Cleansol in Jodhpur since 2002.

Why oil needs an emulsifier
Oil and water do not mix. A normal detergent removes everyday dirt well, but heavy oil and grease often stay in the fibre – and some of it even moves from one garment to another, which is why oily linen slowly turns grey, sticky or yellow.
| Soil | What removes it best |
| Cooking oil, ghee, butter, food fat | Hot water + alkaline Laundry Booster + Emulsifier |
| Engine oil, machine grease, lubricants | Emulsifier – alkali alone cannot break mineral oil |
| Body oil, massage oil, makeup, sunscreen | Emulsifier + detergent in a warm to hot wash |
| Everyday dirt and sweat | Ultra Detergent alone is enough |
Heat softens grease, alkali breaks down food fats, and the emulsifier carries all oily soil – including mineral oil – out of the fibre. Together they do far more than any one alone.
How much to use
| Use | Emulsifier | With |
| Commercial – oily linen | 2–3 ml per kg dry linen | Detergent + Booster, 60–80 °C |
| Commercial – heavy grease, overalls | 4–5 ml per kg dry linen | Detergent + Booster, 70–80 °C |
| Home machine, 7 kg oily load | 30–40 ml | Detergent, hottest setting the fabric allows |
| Single oily stain | A few drops, neat | Rub in, wait 10 min, then wash |
For a 25 kg machine: 50–75 ml (heavy 100–125 ml). For a 50 kg machine: 100–150 ml (heavy 200–250 ml). More is not better – excess only adds foam and rinsing.

How to use
Commercial washer-extractor
- Sort oily linen (napkins, chef coats, kitchen dusters, overalls) away from guest linen.
- Fill and heat the main-wash water to 60–80 °C (as the fabric allows).
- Add together: detergent + Laundry Booster + Emulsifier at the start of the main wash.
- Wash 30–45 minutes, drain, then rinse twice.
- Whiten if needed, then add Fabric Sour in the final rinse.
Home washing machine
- Add 30–40 ml to the detergent compartment along with your normal detergent.
- Choose the hottest programme the care label allows (60 °C for cotton) and a full wash time.
- Do not dry or iron until the oily marks are gone – heat can set oil.
Old or stubborn oil marks
- Apply a few drops neat on the dry stain and rub gently.
- Leave 10 minutes, then wash hot with detergent (and booster for food grease).
- Very old, oxidised yellow oil marks may need two washes, plus Oxygen Bleach for the yellow.

How far one pack goes
| Pack | Treats about | Best for |
| 1 L | About 25–30 home loads, or 330–500 kg of linen | Homes, salons, small restaurants – try it first |
| 5 L | 1,650–2,500 kg of oily linen | Restaurants, PGs, garages, small laundries |
| 25 L | 8,300–12,500 kg of oily linen | Hotels, hospitals, commercial & industrial laundries |
Good to know
- It works with detergent, not instead of it. On its own it will not clean a load – it makes your detergent much better at oil.
- Heat matters. Oil and grease soften above 60 °C; a cold wash gives only a small improvement on heavy grease.
- Fabrics: cotton, poly-cotton and polyester – linen, towels, uniforms, workwear. Follow the care label; not for wool, silk or dry-clean-only garments.
- Set expectations: fresh oil comes out easily. Old stains that have been dried or ironed many times may need pre-treatment and more than one wash.
Why choose Cleansol
- Targets what detergent misses: mineral oil, grease and body oils, not just food fat.
- Concentrated: 2–3 ml per kg in a commercial wash.
- Completes the system: works with Cleansol Ultra, Booster, Whitener and Sour.
- Home to industrial: 1 L to 25 L.
- Direct from the maker: GST invoice, dispatched from Jodhpur within 24 working hours.
Safety & storage
- Avoid contact with eyes; if it gets in the eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Wear gloves for repeated handling.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets. Not to be swallowed.
- Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Frequently asked questions
What is a laundry emulsifier?
A liquid additive used with detergent that breaks oil and grease into tiny droplets so they stay in the wash water and rinse away, instead of redepositing on the fabric.
Do I still need detergent?
Yes. The emulsifier boosts your detergent on oily soil – it does not replace it.
Emulsifier or Laundry Booster – which one?
For kitchen and food grease, use both: the alkaline booster breaks down food fats and the emulsifier carries the oil away. For engine oil and machine grease, the emulsifier is the key product, because alkali alone cannot break mineral oil.
What temperature works best?
60–80 °C in commercial machines, as the fabric allows. At home, use the hottest setting the care label permits.
How much for a 25 kg machine?
50–75 ml for normal oily linen, up to 100–125 ml for heavy grease, added with detergent and booster at the start of the main wash.
Can I use it on a single stain?
Yes. Rub a few drops neat into the dry stain, wait 10 minutes, then wash hot with detergent.
Do you supply laundries in bulk?
Yes – 25 L packs. WhatsApp 98290 05860 with your monthly requirement for a factory price.
