Cleansol Ultra Detergent Powder
About this item
Cleansol Ultra Laundry Detergent Powder is an enzyme-based washing powder for top-load, front-load and semi-automatic washing machines. It dissolves quickly, foams well and lifts food, sweat, grease and everyday dirt – for homes, PGs, hostels, hotels, hospitals and commercial laundries. Just 10–15 g per kg of dry clothes. Packs: 1 kg jar, 5 kg jar (bharni) and 25 kg bag. Made by Cleansol in Jodhpur since 2002.
10–15 g per kg of dry clothes · 1 kg washes about 70–100 kg of clothes
Enzyme-based · Quick dissolving · No white residue · Top & front load · Airtight jar
Why enzymes matter
Most everyday stains on clothes – food, sweat, collar and cuff marks, grease – are made of proteins, starches and fats. Enzymes break these down into small pieces that wash away easily, so Ultra cleans deeper at a lower dose than an ordinary washing powder. Enzymes work best in warm water (40–60 °C) and with a full wash time of about 30 minutes.
How much to use
| Load (dry clothes) | Light dirt · soft water | Heavy dirt · hard water |
| Per 1 kg of clothes | 10 g | 15 g |
| Home machine, 6–7 kg | 60–70 g | 90–105 g |
| Home machine, 8–10 kg | 80–100 g | 120–150 g |
| Commercial machine, 25 kg | 250 g | 375 g |
| Commercial machine, 50 kg | 500 g | 750 g |
Weigh the dry clothes, not the machine capacity – a half load needs half the powder. Too much detergent does not clean better; it leaves residue and needs extra rinsing.

How to wash – 4 steps
- Sort whites, colours and heavily soiled clothes. Weigh the dry load.
- Add the powder to the detergent drawer (front load) or dissolve it in the water first (top load and semi-automatic) – never pour it directly on clothes.
- Wash for about 30 minutes, at 40–60 °C if the fabric allows, for the best stain removal.
- Rinse well – one extra rinse for heavy loads and towels.

Good to know
- Fabrics: for everyday cotton, polyester, poly-cotton and mixed fabrics. For wool, silk and delicates, follow the garment care label.
- Cold water: it cleans in normal tap water; warm water gives the best results with tough stains.
- Do not mix with chlorine bleach or bleaching powder in the same wash – it weakens the enzymes.
- Moisture-proof jar: keeps the powder dry and free-flowing. Close the lid after every use.
