Cleansol Pine Oil 42% White Phenyl Concentrate
About this item
Cleansol Pine Oil 42% White Phenyl Concentrate is a pure, water-free pine oil concentrate. Mix 1 part with 9 parts water and it instantly turns into 10 litres of milky-white phenyl for mopping floors, toilets, bathrooms and drains – with a strong, clean pine smell and no sticky film. It is made with high-grade 42% pine oil – distilled from pine, not a synthetic pine fragrance – and has no water and no thickener. Trusted for over 8 years by homes, hospitals, hotels, schools and offices. Made by Cleansol in Jodhpur since 2002.
1 L concentrate + 9 L water = 10 L white phenyl
42% pine oil distilled from pine · No water · No thickener · Streak-free · Strong pine fragrance with citronella
What does “42% pine oil” mean?
Pine oil is graded by its content of terpene alcohols – the part of pine oil that does the cleaning, cuts odour and gives pine oil its long reputation as a fresh, hygienic cleaner. Our pine oil is graded at more than 42% total alcohol content, checked batch by batch. Ordinary phenyls are made from 22% or 32% grades, which carry far less of this active part and more harsh, turpentine-like hydrocarbons.
Our pine oil is derived from pine and refined by distillation – genuine pine oil, not a synthetic “pine” fragrance added to make a cheap phenyl smell like pine.
Cleansol 42% vs ordinary phenyl
| Ordinary phenyl in the market | Cleansol 42% Concentrate | |
| Pine oil grade | 22% or 32% | 42%+ (checked each batch) |
| Source of pine smell | Often a synthetic pine fragrance | Pine oil distilled from pine |
| Water | Mostly water – you pay for it | No water – 100% concentrate |
| Thickener / TRO | Thickened with cheap TRO and thickener to look strong | No thickener, no TRO |
| On the floor | Thickener can leave a sticky, streaky film | Dries clean, streak-free |
| Fragrance | Weak, or a perfume covering a harsh smell | Strong, clean pine with citronella |
| How much you get | Ready to use – what you buy is what you use | 1 L makes 10 L of white phenyl |
Thick does not mean strong: thickness in ordinary phenyl usually comes from thickener and water, not active pine oil.
How to use – 2 simple steps
Step 1 – Make your white phenyl
- Take a clean bottle or can.
- Add 9 parts water, then 1 part concentrate (for example 100 ml concentrate + 900 ml water).
- Shake or stir – it turns milky white instantly. That white “bloom” shows the pine oil is properly blended.
Step 2 – Use it
| Use | How much white phenyl |
| Mopping floors | 1 cup (200–250 ml) in a bucket of 10 L water |
| Toilets & bathrooms | Pour neat into the toilet bowl and on bathroom floors, scrub and flush |
| Drains & dustbins | Pour 100–200 ml into drains and bins to control odour |
| Hospitals, hotels, offices | Daily mopping at 1 cup per bucket – double for heavy-use areas |
In a hurry? Add 20–25 ml of concentrate (1 cap) directly to a 10 L bucket of water – it is the same strength.
How much it makes – real value
| Pack | Makes white phenyl | Cost per litre of white phenyl |
| 1 L | 10 litres | about ₹62 |
| 2 L | 20 litres | about ₹57 |
| 5 L | 50 litres | about ₹52 |
| 10 L | 100 litres | about ₹46 |
| 25 L | 250 litres | about ₹34 |
| 50 L | 500 litres | about ₹33 |
One litre of concentrate gives about 40 buckets of mopping water – roughly ₹16 a bucket, with 42% pine oil in every one.
What it smells like: a strong, clean pine smell with a hint of citronella – the classic “phenyl” freshness, not a flower perfume. It settles into a fresh, clean smell once the floor dries.

Frequently asked questions
How much white phenyl does 1 litre make?
10 litres. Mix 1 part concentrate with 9 parts water – for example 1 L concentrate + 9 L water.
Why does it turn white in water?
The pine oil is blended so it forms a milky-white emulsion in water. Phenolic phenyls turn white too, so the colour alone proves nothing – the label (42% pine oil) and the fresh pine smell tell you it is genuine pine oil.
Why is it not thick like other phenyls?
Because it has no thickener and no water. Thickness in ordinary phenyl usually comes from thickener, which can leave a sticky, streaky film on floors.
Why is 42% better than 22% or 32%?
The percentage tells you how much of the active terpene alcohols the pine oil contains. 42% carries much more of the part that cleans and controls odour, so you get stronger, longer-lasting results.
Can I use it directly without making phenyl?
Yes. Add 20–25 ml (1 cap) of concentrate to a 10 L bucket of water – it is the same strength as using 1 cup of made phenyl.
Is the pine oil natural or synthetic?
It is pine oil derived from pine and refined by distillation – not a synthetic pine fragrance. The 42% grade is checked for every batch.
Is it the same as black phenyl?
No. Black phenyl is made from coal-tar chemicals. This is a pine oil–based white phenyl concentrate. See pine oil phenyl vs black and phenolic white phenyl.
What does it smell like?
A strong, clean pine smell with citronella – the classic phenyl freshness, not a perfume.
Do you supply hospitals and housekeeping contractors?
