Silver-plated (EPNS) items: quick dip only, with care – the coating is thin, so never scrub and don't dip often. Hollow items: apply with a cotton bud – don't immerse. Not sure? Dip a hidden part for 2–3 seconds first, or WhatsApp us a photo.
How to use
- Wear gloves. Pour just enough dip to cover the item into a glass or plastic bowl (not metal).
- Dip the item for 10–15 seconds with plastic tongs or a plastic strainer. Repeat briefly only if needed – never more than 40 seconds, as longer soaking can leave a matte finish.
- Rinse immediately under running water for at least 30 seconds, including inside chains and links.
- Wash with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse again – especially pooja items and utensils used for food or prasad.
- Dry completely and buff with a soft cotton cloth for a mirror shine.

Safety & storage
- Wear gloves and use in a ventilated place. Avoid contact with eyes and skin; rinse with plenty of water if contact occurs.
- Never mix with bleach or other cleaners. Never pour used liquid back into the original bottle – keep it in a separate closed container or discard it.
- Keep tightly closed in the original container, away from food and out of reach of children. Not for consumption.
Frequently asked questions
How long should I dip silver?
10–15 seconds. Lift it out and check; dip again briefly only if tarnish remains – but never more than 40 seconds in total. Take it out as soon as it is clean and rinse straight away.
Can I use it on German silver or imitation jewellery?
No. German silver contains no silver, and imitation jewellery is plated alloy – the dip can leave them dull or patchy. Use our Copper, Brass & Steel Cleaner or a soft cloth instead.
My silver looks white or matte after dipping – why?
It was left in too long or not rinsed enough. Rinse well, wash with mild soap and buff with a soft cloth to bring the shine back. Next time, dip for fewer seconds.
Can I clean pooja items with it?
Yes – thali, diya, kalash and other solid silver pooja items. Rinse thoroughly and wash with mild soap afterwards, especially items used for food or prasad.
Is the dip reusable?
You can use the poured liquid for several items in the same session. Never pour used liquid back into the original bottle. Keep it in a separate, labelled, closed container for the next use, or discard it when it turns dark or stops working quickly.
