Strong alkali flakes: Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) white flakes, 98% min, a strong alkali that dissolves in water with heat.
Saponifies and cuts grease: Converts oils and fats to soap and dissolves grease, protein and organic residues; neutralises acids.
Soap, detergent and cleaning: Used in soap making, detergents, drain and floor cleaners, textile scouring, paper and effluent pH control.
Dissolve slowly in cold water: Typically 1–10% in cleaning formulations; for soap use the oil's SAP value. Always add flakes to water, never water to flakes.
Industrial grade, flakes: Industrial grade, 98% min, white flakes in 500 g to 50 kg packs; GST invoice, COA/MSDS on request.
