About this item
- Highly alkaline builder: Anhydrous sodium metasilicate (Na2SiO3) supplies strong alkalinity with silicate corrosion protection, readily soluble in water.
- Degreases and builds detergency: Saponifies fats, emulsifies oil and grease, softens water and protects metal and glaze surfaces.
- Detergent and degreaser uses: Used in detergent powders, dishwash and floor cleaners, heavy-duty degreasers, metal cleaning, and textile scouring.
- Typical use level: 5–25% in detergent powders, 5–20% in dishwash formulations and 1–10% in liquid degreasers.
- Industrial grade granules: White free-flowing granules, anhydrous, in packs from 500 g to 50 kg; GST invoice.

First aid: Eyes – rinse immediately with water for at least 15 min, get medical help; Skin – remove contaminated clothing, wash with plenty of water; Inhalation – move to fresh air; Ingestion – rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting, get immediate medical help
Spills: Sweep up dry without dust into a sealed container; flush residue with plenty of water.
Do not mix with: Acids (heat and silica gel), aluminium, zinc and tin (hydrogen release), ammonium salts.
