What does sodium hypochlorite kill?
It is a broad-spectrum chlorine disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi on clean, hard surfaces when used at the right dilution and contact time.
How long should I leave it on the surface?
At least 10 minutes for routine and strong disinfection, 15–20 minutes for drains and mould. Then rinse food-contact and metal surfaces.
Can I use it in a water tank?
Use it only to wash the empty tank: scrub with 20 ml per litre of water, leave 20–30 minutes, then rinse 2–3 times before refilling.
Can I mix it with phenyl or toilet cleaner?
No. Never mix it with any other cleaner, acid or ammonia product – it releases toxic chlorine gas. Use one product at a time and rinse in between.
