About this item
- Liquid polyethylene glycol: PEG-400 is a low-viscosity, water-soluble polyether liquid with average molecular weight of about 380–420.
- Humectant, solvent and carrier: Retains moisture, dissolves actives, extracts and fragrances, and improves spreadability of gels and creams.
- Cosmetic and industrial uses: Used in creams, gels, serums, hair products, cleaners, inks, plasticisers and as a carrier for actives.
- Typical use level: Use 1–10% in cosmetic formulations; higher levels as solvent or carrier as required.
- Cosmetic grade liquid: Clear colourless to pale yellow liquid, packed 500 g to 20 kg. GST invoice.
