About this item
- Polydimethylsiloxane fluid: Clear, inert silicone oil of ~1000 cSt viscosity with very low surface tension and high thermal stability.
- Slip, gloss and foam control: Gives slip, water repellency and long-lasting shine, and suppresses foam when emulsified into aqueous systems.
- Main applications: Furniture, dashboard and tyre polishes, mould release, lubrication of light mechanisms, defoamers and personal care.
- Typical use level: 2–10% in polishes; defoamer use as emulsion at 10–200 ppm silicone, depending on foam level.
- Industrial / Cosmetic grade fluid: Clear colourless liquid in 500 ml to 50 kg packs. GST invoice.
