Cleansol Shampoo Base – Transparent (Concentrate, 1 kg makes ~3 kg)

1. Take 2 kg water in a clean plastic or steel container.
2. Add 1 kg base slowly and stir gently (avoid making foam).
3. Add 10 g perfume and colour as required, and mix.
4. Cover and rest for 24 hours so the base fully hydrates and air bubbles escape.
5. Dissolve about 100 g salt in a little water and add it little by little until the shampoo reaches the thickness you want. Stop when thick – too much salt makes it thin again.
6. Fill into bottles and label.

Avoid contact with eyes; wear gloves while mixing. Store in a cool, dry place in a closed container, away from direct sunlight and children. Use within 12 months.
