About this item
- Water-soluble cellulose gum: Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, an anionic cellulose ether that dissolves in water to give viscous solutions.
- Thickens and prevents redeposition: Builds viscosity, suspends solids and stops removed soil from redepositing on fabric during washing.
- Main applications: Used in detergent powders, liquid cleaners, textile printing and sizing, paper, ceramics, adhesives and paints.
- Typical use level: About 0.2–2% in detergents and cleaners; sprinkle slowly into stirred water to avoid lumps.
- Industrial grade powder: Industrial grade white to off-white powder in 100 g to 25 kg packs. GST invoice.

Do not mix with: Strong oxidisers; strong acids reduce viscosity.
